Statement from Dallas Theological Seminary president, Mark L. Bailey,
on today’s home going of Reverend Jerry Falwell.

On behalf of Dallas Theological Seminary I would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the Falwell family, the members of Thomas Road Baptist Church, and the faculty, staff, and students of Liberty University. Dr. Falwell was a man of conviction and a champion for righteousness. He was a man who faithfully preached the gospel and dared to stress its application in every area of life. Our prayer is that the influence of his life and ministry for the cause of Christ will continue in generations to come.
